Although IShowSpeed, or Darren Jason Watkins Jr., as is his original name, is best known for the eccentric antics he showcases on his streaming videos, he has also earned a reputation for his athletic stunts. The 20-year-old internet personality once again proved his mettle in fitness when he dropped down to the ground in the middle of a recent livestream and performed 50 push-ups in a bid to win a challenge against his viewers.
IShowSpeed does 50 push-ups on livestream
During a recently conducted livestream, the popular streamer surprised his fans by doing 50 push-ups in front of the camera, just to disprove all the critics who had claimed that he wouldn’t be able to reach the said mark.
After going through the live comments on his video, IShowSpeed shot back at his fans who were questioning his physical capabilities, stating, “Half y’all in the chat can’t get up and give me 50 push-ups. In a row. You all cannot give me, you all can’t give me 50 push-ups. I can.”
IShowSpeed initially tried to prove his point through words, but with his viewers refusing to accept his claims, he quickly jumped into action. “Alright, bet. Then get the f**k up, he said in a definitive tone as he rolled up his green screen and stood up from his gaming chair.
Taunting the viewers to do the same, the young internet personality dropped to the ground and started doing push-ups right in front of the live audience. Without breaking a sweat, he completed the 50 push-ups, getting up only after he had completed the challenge.
Finally, having proven his doubters wrong, IShowSpeed looked into the camera and proudly yelled out, “50!” As he made his way back to his chair, the fan-favorite YouTuber noted, “Now, who survived? Who survived? Who, chat, who, who survived? None of y’all survived, bro.”
