Markle’s Latest Look Branded ‘Revenge’ by Palace Insiders

Meghan Markle has once again stirred controversy, this time for not wearing a poppy ahead of Remembrance Day at Kris Jenner’s birthday party. Meanwhile, Prince Harry arrived at the extravagant event in a black tuxedo, with a red poppy pinned to his jacket. Markle’s fashion choice didn’t sit well with many, and palace insiders reportedly described it as “her latest act of royal revenge.”

Meghan Markle’s outfit didn’t feature a poppy or a red accent, claims insider

Remembrance Day holds great importance in the UK, especially for the Royal Family. It is a day when everyone honors those who died serving in the military. The Royal Family wears poppies while attending ceremonies to uphold tradition and lead by example, and not doing so is deeply frowned upon. For Harry, the significance of the red poppy is even greater, as he has served in the British Army.

So, it’s no surprise that Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, not wearing one to Kris Jenner’s birthday party, ahead of Remembrance Day, has people talking and not for the right reasons.

As reported by Radar Online, a royal source said that Markle is “fully aware of the symbolism.” The source added, “The poppy isn’t just decoration – it’s a powerful emblem that means everything to Harry and the royals. By deliberately leaving it off, she was making a statement of contempt toward both him and the entire family.”

Insiders note that the decision not to wear a red poppy was “no accident,” calling the move “ultra-nasty” and “her latest act of royal revenge.”

A friend close to Harry revealed that he was “frustrated and uncomfortable” as the couple reached the birthday party. As per the source, this was because he treats it “as something sacred,” and seeing his wife “next to him without wearing one was uncomfortable.”

While Royal sources believe it wasn’t the right decision, some Hollywood insiders took the actor’s side, saying that not wearing a poppy was “a style choice, not a statement.”
