6ix9ine Offers Demi Lovato Drugs, Predicts She Will ‘Relapse’

Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine has stirred up yet another controversy by claiming that Demi Lovato will eventually go back to consuming drugs. He said so despite the “Heart Attack” singer’s troubled history with substances. In a recent interview, the polarizing 29-year-old not only implied that Lovato will ultimately “relapse” but also offered to send her “a gift” to help in the process.

During his recent appearance on Andie Elle’s podcast, 6ix9ine jokingly noted that Demi Lovato is bound to go back to her older ways when it comes to substances, going as far as to say that he’ll send some drugs over to the Camp Rock star.

While talking to Elle, the rapper suggested that Miranda Cosgrove of iCarly fame had been consuming cocaine before clarifying that he was actually referring to Lovato. In response, the talk show host reminded 6ix9ine that the two-time Grammy Award nominee had embraced sobriety a long time ago. Tekashi replied by saying, “She’s gonna relapse. Let’s send her a gift. Let’s send her some [censored], make her relapse.”

Notably, Lovato suffered a near-fatal overdose in 2018. She opened up about her struggles with drugs in a 2021 documentary series, titled Dancing With the Devil, wherein she revealed, “I had three strokes, I had a heart attack. I suffered brain damage from the strokes, I can’t drive anymore, and I have blind spots in my vision.”

She further added, “I also had pneumonia ’cause I asphyxiated, and multiple organ failure,” before admitting that she was “really lucky to be alive.” Lovato concluded her account with yet another shocking revelation, noting, “My doctors said that I had five to 10 more minutes, and had my assistant not come in, I wouldn’t be here today.”

Later in the interview, 6ix9ine explained his controversial statements about Lovato by simply saying, “dark humor is going extinct,” while also adding, “people in this new generation are just overly sensitive.” Lovato has yet to issue an official response to 6ix9ine’s comments about her.
