Adin Ross Claims Drake Saved ‘Horrible’ Kendrick Lamar’s Career

Adin Ross recently recalled the infamous beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake on a livestream. He defended the latter, claiming that his music is far better than Lamar’s. He also praised Drake for supporting fellow rappers while suggesting that Lamar’s music career was resurrected because of their feud.

Adin Ross says Kendrick Lamar’s music is ‘horrible’

During a livestream on Sunday, Ross revisited the infamous feud between Lamar and Drake, sharing his thoughts. He said, “Listen to this… 2021 plus, Drake’s killing him. If it’s 2010 plus, Drake’s killing him. Kendrick’s catalog is horrible, and y’all know I’m not capping. It’s f**king a**! Nobody listened to Mr. Morale. GNX — Drake saved his miraculous career because he f**king… ‘Wow, the beef.’ Who gives a s**t?”

Ross further continued the criticism of Lamar’s music while showcasing his disappointment with him not hyping up other fellow rappers. “Kendrick is a**. He does nothing for any other rappers. Doesn’t do verses. He does nothing! He does nothing for rap. Drake, you need a verse: ‘Here you go, guys!” he added.

This is not the first time Ross has spoken in support of Drake. Earlier this year, Ross gave his verdict on who he believed won the rap battle between Lamar and Drake in a conversation at the Full Send Podcast. According to him, it was the “Hotline Bling” singer. He explained further, “In my opinion, I think Drake won the rap battle because, obviously, Kendrick made the hit song ‘Not Like Us,’ but it’s all lies. He said [Drake] had a daughter, which was debunked. It wasn’t even real, but people don’t bring that up.”

Furthermore, Ross claimed that it was Drake who put Lamar back on track in his career. “In 2011, I was 11 years old. It was called Would You Like a Tour? I believe. It was when [Drake] first dropped Take Care, he took Kendrick, J. Cole, A$AP Rocky, The Weeknd — he took all these guys on tour. Gave them all a feature. French Montana, Meek Mill, all of them. He helped put them on and you’re doing him like this,” he added. He believes Drake has been at the top for so long that everyone around him is simply looking for a chance to knock him down.
