Charlotte Flair Reacts to NSFW WWE Wardrobe Malfunction

The outfit mishap garnered considerable fan attention, prompting Flair to address it.

The 14-time women’s world champion recently went up against Nia Jax in the WWE SmackDown match on November 7, 2025. The event took place at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina.

During the match, Charlotte Flair landed a dive on Jax, resulting in the former’s top slipping. This prompted the live Netflix broadcast to cut to black while she fixed her top. Unfortunately, Flair’s outfit continued suffering from wardrobe malfunctions, causing the broadcast to cut to a black screen more than once.

Despite the embarrassing situation, the 39-year-old remained calm and continued wrestling. Unfortunately, she lost the match after Lash Legend stepped in to help Nia Jax by attacking Flair’s tag team partner, Alexa Bliss.

Meanwhile, fans responded to the wardrobe mishap online. Flair also humorously addressed the incident not long after by responding to a fan who wondered if she had a wardrobe malfunction. “I’m going to start wrestling in the robes,” she wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Soon, a fan responded to Flair’s comment, advising her to wear nipple covers, which could be clear or dark, in case of future wardrobe malfunctions. They further advised the wrestler to ensure that they wear covers that are thin and remain in place.

Several fans then criticized the fan’s advice, trying to remind them that it wasn’t their place to offer it. However, the fan firmly held their ground and clapped back.

This isn’t the first time Charlotte Flair has suffered a wardrobe mishap, as she has previously experienced the issue twice. Per The Sun, the first was in 2020, when, during a Monday Night RAW match against Jax, her golden top slipped while tackling a power bomb, causing the screen to go black. The second was in 2022, when Flair’s top slipped up during her Wrestlemania fight against Ronda Rousey.
