Jimmy” Donaldson, best known as MrBeast, shared an X (formerly Twitter) post on November 9, announcing that he has hit 100 billion views on YouTube. The achievement has since sparked reactions online, with many left flabbergasted over the astounding number.
“Channel hit 100 billion views, grateful for every single one of them. Appreciate you guys ❤️,” MrBeast tweeted on Sunday. “I remember when I also hit 100 views for the first time, never give up and who knows where you’ll go,” the YouTuber added in the replies.
Fans took the opportunity not only to marvel at the groundbreaking milestone but also to take some playful jabs at the YouTuber. One user commented, “Yo, 100 billion is just stoopid ? Your views are beating entire country populations now. What’s next, taking over the moon?”
“Wait, we are only 8 billion people in this world ?,” stated a confused fan. Another user joked, “Mine just hit 100 views I’m right behind you buddy.” A third fan penned, “No worries man, I love helping small creators out!”
This weekend, MrBeast also went viral for being the subject of the Saturday Night Live parody sketch, “Beauty & Mr. Beast.” The hilarious skit pokes fun at the YouTuber’s game shows, where he offers extravagant prize money to the winners.
The sketch, starring host Nikki Glaser as Belle and Ben Marshall as the parodied version of MrBeast, takes inspiration from the 1991 Disney classic. However, unlike the movie, this version of Beast continues to challenge the other characters for a chance to win a substantial amount of money.
Additionally, fans are excited to see MrBeast return with the sophomore season of his reality competition show, Beast Games.
