Millie Bobby Brown recently revealed Sabrina Carpenter’s advice after she faced bad press. In her recent interview with a prestigious magazine, the “Stranger Things” hitmaker opened up about the negative coverage of her “Baywatch” signature look. She claimed that she was “depressed” and was crying for a few days as the remarks hurt her deeply.
She came out of the zone after meeting the “Manchild” singer. The latter advised the 21-year-old to ignore the haters and “f*** them.”
Millie Bobby Brown was welling up when Sabrina Carpenter gave her an advice
Millie Bobby Brown and Sabrina Carpenter’s interaction has reportedly helped the “Stranger Things” star get back on her feet. Like any young celebrity girl, the Hollywood actress has always been excited to try new things, especially red carpet looks. According to her interview with Vogue, Brown wanted to follow a ’90s theme at the Los Angeles premiere of her film, “The Electric State,” in February.
The Primetime Emmy nominee said that she and her stylist requested Paris Hilton and Pamela Anderson to let her borrow some of their iconic outfits. Dying her hair blonde, Brown opted for the “Baywatch” vibe, wearing a metallic gown. But her efforts were not seemingly appreciated. She termed the press coverage as “savage.”
She was “depressed” for a few days, “crying every day.” At the time, the “Enola Holmes” lead met Carpenter at the Brit Awards. “I was crying while I was getting my hair and make-up done. I was even welling up when I saw her backstage,” Brown explained. Seeing her ordeal, the pop star hugged her and gave her “much-needed advice.”
“Truly, always, her [Carpenter] mentality is very much like ‘F*** ’em’, which I knew inside of me, but when you hear someone else say it, you’re like, ‘Yes! That’s it,’” the mother of one told the magazine. This gave her the confidence to stand up again and do something about it. Instead of responding to the haters, she chose to “address it” in order to “uplift and empower young people.”
