Soccer icon Cristiano Ronaldo recently sat down with Piers Morgan for an unfiltered interview, during which the pair discussed a range of topics. At one point during the conversation, Morgan cheekily asked Ronaldo whether he thinks he is “better looking” than fellow soccer legend David Beckham.
“Depends. Because for me, the look is not only the face…it’s all in the package like this,” Ronaldo jokingly replied, motioning to his body. The star further gave a hilarious explanation, saying that if he were “just a normal guy with the Speedos, red Speedos in a Copacabana,” he would definitely still get a chance with somebody.
The answer drew a burst of laughter from Morgan, who agreed with Ronaldo. The star then said that he was joking and asserted that both he and Beckham were good-looking. However, Morgan didn’t let him off easily and continued to jokingly press him on for a definitive answer.
“So come on, you and Beckham. You’re walking across the Copacabana for say 10 minutes. Who gets the most attention?” Morgan asked Ronaldo. CR7 then gave a cheeky reply, saying, “Not famous. Just the body. Me 100%.”
The response left the duo laughing before they moved on to talk about Sir Alex Ferguson’s impact on his career.
On a personal front, Cristiano Ronaldo recently got engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez. The model and social media star announced the engagement on Instagram on Monday, August 11. She also shared a close-up shot of the enormous sparkler on her ring finger as she held Ronaldo’s hand.
