The Duffer Brothers recently shared an update on the bond between Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour amid allegations of bullying. According to reports, Brown had allegedly filed a complaint against Harbour for harassment and bullying. An insider claimed that the complaint was made before the filming of the final season. Further, an investigation continued for several months.

Stranger Things showrunners Ross and Matt Duffer shared their thoughts on the ongoing allegations of bullying. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Ross said, “Obviously, you understand I can’t get into personal onset matters, but I will say we’ve been doing this for 10 years with this cast, and at this point they’re family and we deeply care about them.” He continued, “So, you know, nothing matters more than just having a set where everyone feels safe and happy.”
Meanwhile, Shawn Levy, executive producer and director of the show, mentioned that they have done their best to create a “respectful” work environment where everyone feels “comfortable and safe.” Further sharing his thoughts on the alleged claims, he added, “I’ve read a bunch of stories and they range from wildly inaccurate to… there’s so much noise around it.” He said, “But the truth is that we view this crew and this cast as family, and so we treat each other with respect, and that’s always been bedrock.”
According to the alleged report, Brown filed the complaint for “pages and pages of accusations” against Harbour. The report stated that an internal investigation had taken place, although it did not involve any accusations of sexual misconduct. The insider claimed, “She filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season. The investigation went on for months.” However, none of them has formally addressed the ongoing allegations.
Amid the supposed drama, they appeared to be in high spirits, enjoying the Stranger Things Season 5 Los Angeles premiere. Brown and Harbour were joined by the other cast members as well.
