I laughed, was on the edge of my seat, and ate way too much popcorn.”

Tom Cruise attended the screening of Glen Powell’s new movie, The Running Man, amid his split from Ana de Armas. Dressed in black, Cruise and Powell posed holding matching popcorn boxes with the film’s name printed on them.
Cruise puts his arm around Powell, showing his support for his Top Gun: Maverick co-star. In the second picture, the Hollywood megastar strikes a pose with Emilia Jones, Colman Domingo, Lee Pace, and director Edgar Wright. Cruise had previously supported Powell at the London premiere of his movie Twisters in July 2024.
American comic book writer, Rob Liefeld, commented, “The best endorsement!” A fan wrote, “I like the fact that Tom Cruise seems to support a lot of his former.” Another penned, “Approved by the Running Man Himself,” accompanied by a heart-eyes emoticon.
Notably, Tom Cruise is not shying away from making public appearances after he reportedly broke up with Ana de Armas. The couple was first spotted together on Valentine’s Day this year and maintained a low profile regarding their relationship. Their unexpected breakup has come as a shock to their fans and well-wishers.
Radar Online reports Cruise is “spiraling,” even as he insists he was the one to break off the relationship. The source revealed, “Tom’s spinning things to make it sound like he ended it – saying Ana didn’t live up to what he wanted. But people close to him know that’s just ego. It’s also juvenile. Really, he’s hurting. She was the one who stepped back, and it’s shaken him badly.”
