When Bianca Censori revealed the collection on Instagram, the remarkable similarity with Kardashian’s brand did not go unnoticed by fans. However, a new insider’s take on the matter hints that Censori is not looking to compete with Kim rather, this is her attempt to build her own identity.
Bianca Censori has no plans to fight Kim Kardashian
When the first pictures of Bianca Censori’s shapewear collection arrived online, fans could not stop comparing it with Kim Kardashian’s brand. Needless to say, the comparison sparked rumors that Kanye had orchestrated the brand to pose as a threat to Kim’s billion-dollar shapewear empire.
However, now it seems that this is not the case. Instead, insiders have told The Sun that Bianca is not looking to compete with Kim. Instead, this is the first thing that is her own. It is the means to establish her identity beyond being Kanye West’s wife.
An insider told The Sun, “Bianca is mystified as to why people are trying to set up some kind of fake rivalry. She is an artist.” So far, the brand launch has seen several delays and its usual share of chaos, thanks to the association with Kanye.
“If Bianca is thinking about a brand war, it’s with (artists) Marina Abramovic or Jeff Koons, not her husband’s ex-wife,” the insider said, confirming that a war with Kim Kardashian is the last thing on Bianca Censori’s mind. While the pictures Bianca posted of her in the shapewear brand’s collection did not exactly say that she was aiming for something different from Kardashian, the new insider report seems to indicate otherwise.
Anyhow, the launch is finally close now, and within a few days, there will be more clarity about where Bianca is aiming to place her new brand.
