Chris Martin and Sophie Turner’s alleged relationship has been gaining a lot of attention from their followers. While the duo has not made anything official yet, a source told Deuxmoi that the Coldplay frontman is enjoying dating the actor as they both have a common cultural background.
“It’s just a casual fling and likely won’t last long,” a source close to Martin told the outlet. The tipster further added that the English musician is “definitely enjoying dating a British woman after all these years with Americans. It’s nice to have that shared cultural connection.”
It was earlier reported that the “Game of Thrones” actor and Coldplay artist went on a secret date a few weeks back. However, as per InStyle, this would not be the first time the “X Men: Apocalypse” star met the 48-year-old singer.
The singer has always been a Coldplay fan. In 2020, she was, in fact, surprised by her then-husband, Joe Jonas, with a birthday message from Martin. As per the video, Jonas passed on the phone to the star, saying that “someone” wants to “say happy birthday.”
Turner was then shocked to see Martin on-screen. He said, “This is Chris from Coldplay. I wanted to say on behalf of me and the even more handsome members of our band. Have the best day and I am sending you all my love and I hope you’re having the best time. Thanks for being awesome, bye.”
Before being linked to each other, Martin was in a relationship with Dakota Johnson for eight years. But they parted ways in early June. Meanwhile, after Turner’s divorce from Jonas in late 2023, she was linked to British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson. They were together since late 2023. However, the former couple reportedly split in August.
