Araujo recently shared a get-ready-with-me video on Instagram, in which she transforms into Katy Perry. She addressed a comment in her video, which read, “She looks more like Katy Perry than Katy Perry.” She revealed that, as she gets this comment on most of her posts, she decided to bring one of Perry’s looks to life.
Araujo said, “Mother, or you may know her as Miss Katy Perry, has had so many iconic looks in her career that it was hard for me to choose, like, which ones to do.” She initially chose two options but decided not to do Perry’s Met Gala chandelier look because it wouldn’t have been practically possible for her. “Miss Girl walked around in a fucking chandelier like I was not gonna do that. I would not have been able to get to the fucking door,” she added.
The OnlyFans creator said she didn’t want to compromise on her look, so she spent $ 4,000 on the custom piece. Araujo noted that the store offered her alternatives, but they didn’t meet her expectations. “Since I’ve started social media, you guys have told me up the fucking wazoo, blowing it up my ass, so I wasn’t gonna do it half-assed. I’m actually doing the most, like this is my Heidi Klum moment,” she explained about pulling off the whole resemblance with dedication.
