Selling Sunset’s New Agent Is Sofía Vergara’s Sister

In Selling Sunset Season 9, The Oppenheim Group has a new real estate agent—Sandra Vergara. On the show, Sandra reveals whether she’s connected to Modern Family actress Sofía Vergara.

During her confessional in Selling Sunset Season 9, Sandra Vergara revealed that she’s Sofía Vergara’s younger sister. “She’s biologically my first cousin, but her mom adopted me, so we grew up as sisters,” Sandra explained.

Selling Sunset Season 9 marks Vergara’s first venture into the real estate profession. “People that are close to me were always like, ‘Oh my God, you need to do real estate. You’d be killing it.’ And hello, here I am,” she explained.

While Sandra might be a new real estate agent, she isn’t new to the world of television. Sandra started her career as an actress in the early 2000s. She has appeared briefly in projects like CSI: Miami in 2009 and The Bold and the Beautiful in 2013. However, she rose to fame by modeling for magazines like Maxim and Esquire.

However, things didn’t go so smoothly on her first day on Netflix’s Selling Sunset. While engaging with the group, Emma Hernan left the conversation to take a call, which visibly frustrated her. Chrishell Stause then remarked, “You can’t be the new person in an office and get frustrated at somebody’s phone ringing.” Further into the episode, Vergara started to believe that Stause didn’t like her and confided her worries to colleagues.

Later, at one of Stause’s listings, Vergara questioned her directly, asking if she had done something wrong because she sensed “resistance.” Stause then showed her a photo of someone Vergara didn’t recognize—Stause’s assistant, who had once accused Vergara of keying her car.

Vergara denied the accusation, saying, “I’ve never keyed anybody’s car. Not even an ex.”

Stause insisted she had been friendly, adding that she preferred to “wait and see how someone moves” before forming opinions, revealing that Vergara, however, disappointed her. Later, Vergara broke down, calling the accusation “shocking” and stressing she never wanted to upset Stause. Stause, however, advised her to “toughen up,” reminding her that “nothing matters except your success and what you’re there to do.”
