Jennifer Lawrence recently revealed an unusual story about Robert Pattinson literally eating from her trash. This was about a late-night visit that he made to her house, during which he ate leftovers straight from the garbage, and even asked for more. Lawrence revealed that Pattinson was in the area and then hopped over for food at her home while she was spending the night with some of her friends.
Jennifer Lawrence’s hilarious story of feeding trash to Robert Pattinson
The Academy Award winner revealed that one December, she and her girlfriends were in their pyjamas and watching Little Women when her Die My Love co-star texted her.
During her recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Jennifer Lawrence shared that Robert Pattinson had just wrapped up a job nearby and wanted to drop by her home. Elaborating on their friendship, she explained that he is basically “one of the girls” to her and probably “wanted to gossip.” And thus, she told him to come over.
Continuing, the No Hard Feelings star said, “He’s also like my daughter in a way — he’s a great father, a professional, shows up on time, but I wouldn’t trust him to put a coat on or eat on time. He brings out this very maternal vibe. He comes in, I give him a hug, and he says, ‘You have any food? I’m so hungry.’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, come in.’ He goes to the bathroom — I do have food, but it’s in the trash.”
However, that did not stop The Batman actor, as Lawrence had to fish out the food from the trash and serve it to him. And after that, he even asked for seconds.
Jennifer Lawrence divulged, “While he was in the bathroom, I was pulling food out of my garbage can, and my girlfriends were like [reaction]. He just eats it, and we’re all kind of watching him eat this trash. When he was finished, he said, ‘I’m still hungry. Is there more?’ I said, ‘Well, there is, but it’s in the garbage.’ He said, ‘I don’t mind,’ pulled it out of the trash, and kept eating.”
To this, host Graham Norton hilariously commented that Robert Pattinson is a great house to have.
Meanwhile, Lawrence and Pattinson’s critically acclaimed film, Die My Love, will arrive in US theaters on November 7, 2025.
