In a clip circulating online, Kelce attended a post-game interview with SVP, discussing various topics, including the team’s victory and his historic touchdown. The interviewer initiates the conversation by asking what Kelce thinks about setting the tone for the group in terms of demeanor, play, and professionalism. To this, Kelce replies, “I’m just the old lucky dog that’s still able to do this. I’m putting on the pads like I’m 15 years old, again, man. And I’m loving every single bit of it.”

Agreeing to his point, the interviewer points out that Kelce’s “soon-to-be bride” regards him as a “human exclamation point.” Kelce’s face appears to light up on hearing Swift’s name as he smiles and responds briefly. He said, “Truth, Baby” (via ESPN).

After Kelce scored his 83rd touchdown, the camera briefly showed Swift, who was with Brittany Mahomes in the suite. She sported a red sweater, paired with a ponytail and her signature lipstick. She was seen pointing and smiling as Kelce scored a historic record. On the field, Kelce also celebrated as he did moves inspired by Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” song, from her The Life of a Showgirl album.

Following the Chiefs’ victory over the Commanders, Kelce shared his thoughts on his career milestone and what’s next. He said, “I just cherish these moments, man, being able to play at Arrowhead. This place is special, man, and I love it here. In terms of the historical stuff, I’m still looking at the next game and the next catch and trying to get better” (via ESPN).
