Megan Fox opened up about postpartum challenges after giving birth to daughter

According to E! News, Megan Fox recently spoke candidly about her postpartum experience. She revealed that she is still adjusting to life as a new mother, seven months after welcoming her daughter, Saga Blade, with her former fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly.

During a Q&A session at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles—held in celebration of her 2009 film “Jennifer’s Body”- Fox reflected on how motherhood has changed her daily routine and focus.

The actor told the audience that she “just had a baby” and admitted she has been experiencing significant “brain fog” in recent months. She went on to add that she has not “slept in seven months,” noting that fatigue has made it difficult to stay on track during public appearances. “If I repeat myself, I’m sorry,” she told the crowd, asking them to “interrupt” her if she lost her train of thought.

Saga is Fox’s first child with musician Machine Gun Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker. In Style noted that Kelly explained the meaningful inspiration behind their daughter’s name. He shared that “Saga” represents “an epic story,” referring to Fox’s journey marked by both joy and personal loss.

Kelly also said that, as someone of Norwegian heritage, he was drawn to the name because Saga is “a Nordic goddess of storytelling,” expressing hope that their daughter “has a storytelling future ahead of her.”
