Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster made their first red carpet appearance as a couple on Sunday night after his divorce from Deborra-Lee Furness. They attended the Los Angeles premiere of Song Sung Blue during AFI Fest at the TCL Chinese Theatre. Jackman, 57, wore a black suit and tie. Foster, 50, chose a low-cut black satin dress and carried a matching clutch.
The couple posed with their arms around each other before joining co-star Kate Hudson for photos. Hudson, 46, wore an orange gown with a long train. Their red carpet debut followed their appearance at Richard Marx’s After Hours Confession event in New York City. The outing came amid reports that Jackman continues to maintain an amicable relationship with his ex-wife.
Jackman and Foster also appeared at the Fetch Pet Gala at the Carlyle Hotel in NYC earlier this month. An insider told Daily Mail: “Press and photographers were patiently waiting for Hugh and Sutton to make their big debut on the red carpet, but unfortunately, plans had changed last minute.” The source added that Foster “arrived solo” and was “glowing and in good spirits,” while Jackman later “snuck inside following the cocktail hour and was seated next to Sutton during the dinner portion of the evening.”
Jackman and Furness finalized their divorce in June 2025 after 27 years of marriage. Court filings confirmed it was a non-contested separation. Sources told Radar Online that the two have “gotten together a couple of times in New York recently to talk things out.” Jackman and Foster, who met while co-starring in The Music Man, have reportedly been dating for several months.
