Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband, Brad Falchuk, caught everyone’s attention when they got hitched in 2018. But now, it seems the couple is hitting a rough patch. If sources are to be believed, Paltrow and Falchuk have been spending more time apart lately. This, as per insiders, could be “another conscious uncoupling.”
Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk are growing apart, says source
Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk have always kept their private lives away from the prying eyes. From their dating to their secret engagement to their marriage, the couple kept their relationship out of the media. However, their friends claim that the once-much-in-love couple is now growing apart as they are both busy with their respective careers.
“There’s definitely a different energy between them now. They’re spending more time apart, and that easy closeness they once had has faded,” a source close to the couple told RadarOnline.com.
The actress is “constantly reinventing herself,” but her husband “seems to be struggling to keep up,” they added. Hence, looking at their growing distance, their “friends worry this could be the early signs of another conscious uncoupling.”
The rumors of their strained relationship began circulating over the summer after Amy Odell’s unauthorized biography, “Gwyneth,” became talk of the town. As per sources, Falchuk was “deeply uncomfortable” with the part of the book talking about Paltrow’s sex life with her exes.
A friend told the outlet, “Brad’s always been proud of everything Gwyneth’s achieved, but the book really unsettled him. He’s quite private, and seeing those old stories resurface was uncomfortable.” The pal even revealed that the couple “clashed over it, and the strain hasn’t completely gone away.”
Additionally, with her kids at college, the Goop founder is now taking “stock of her identity and what she wants from the next phase of her life,” adding more to the trouble.
Despite this, the 53-year-old “keeps saying everything’s fine.” However, “those around her aren’t so sure.” They believe that until the couple “start spending meaningful time together again, the speculation isn’t going anywhere.”
Before exchanging vows with Brad Falchuk, the actress was married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. While the “Glee” co-creator, Falchuk, was married to producer Suzanne Bukinik.
