Lebron James’ pizza-eating tactic has got the fans talking
LeBron James has offended the internet for not eating the pizza the right way. The NBA legend shared an Instagram story of a delicious pizza topped with basil leaves. A glass of red wine, some red chili flakes, and a glass of soda covered the rest of the table. While the picture looked completely inoffensive at first glance, fans were quick to notice a fork placed on the pizza.
This caused an uproar amongst pizza lovers on X as James’ pizza-eating tactic left fans unimpressed. People believe that eating a slice of pizza with their hands, rather than using cutlery, is the best way to enjoy it.
The Instagram story shared by Daily Loud has garnered 198 comments, 107 retweets, 2,000 likes, and 48 saves. Fans had a lot to say about James’ pizza-eating style and why they don’t approve of it. “Nah, that’s criminal,” one fan wrote. Another fan commented, “My GOAT is washed,” accompanied by a broken heart emoticon.
A third fan was left disgusted by the visual and simply shared, “Gross.” Finally, a fan expressed, “That’s disgusting”.
A couple of years ago, James went undercover as Ron, a regular employee at Blaze Pizza’s Pasadena, California, location. In a video shared by Blaze Pizza’s YouTube account, the NBA star put on his apron and got to work like a regular employee.
The cameraman recognized fans’ and customers’ reactions to the new undercover employee, Ron. While some didn’t recognize him, others wondered if it was really James. However, a few fans recognized the 40-year-old athlete and couldn’t hide their excitement and suppressed smiles.
Nonetheless, customers played along and did not swarm the Lakers star with pictures and autographs. James, AKA Ron, subtly promoted Blaze Pizza by talking about its varieties and sauces. Notably, LeBron James is an investor in Blaze Pizza.
