A Road Trip To Remember trailer follows Chris and Craig Hemsworth on a journey
National Geographic just released a new trailer for an upcoming documentary titled Chris Hemsworth: A Road Trip To Remember. The documentary film focuses on Chris and his father Craig’s road trip across Australia as they revisit old memories. “My dad and I are going on a road trip, back into our past. He has early-stage Alzheimer’s. I wanna do everything I can to help him. Turns out, this experience could help fight the disease,” Chris says in the trailer.
The trailer features many wholesome moments, as he and his father journey back to their old family house in the Northern Territory of Australia. Chris posted the trailer on Instagram in a post captioned “My Dad and I had always spoken about taking a trip back to the Northern Territory, where our family had lived years ago, but we had never been able to set aside the time to actually do it. More recently, the idea of taking that road trip reemerged with more pressing importance. The result was a more profound, more moving, and more surprising journey than I ever anticipated.”
Along the way, Chris also explores how connection can reduce the risk of dementia, slow cognitive decline, and even prolong life. The documentary film will premiere on National Geographic on November 23, 2025. It will later be available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu starting November 24.
