A new report from TMZ has confirmed this happened on October 7, 2025. The Ventura County Fire Department confirmed to the outlet that they responded to a residence in Somis, California. Sources have since told the outlet that the individual in question was Daniel Stern. However, there have been no reports about what exactly happened to him.
Stern was initially assessed by the firefighters and then transported to a nearby hospital. A representative for the actor confirmed that he is doing well now and has been released from the hospital. Meanwhile, there has been no information about how long he was in the hospital.
Daniel Stern joined the entertainment industry in the late 1970s and has since taken on many characters in film and television. His famous roles include Phil Berquist in City Slickers and City Slickers II: The Legend of Curly’s Gold. Stern has also voiced adult Kevin Arnold on the television series The Wonder Years. However, he gained major prominence with his role as Marv Murchins in Home Alone.
