Ruby Rose Defends Taylor Swift From MAGA Allegations As Travis Kelce Stays Silent

After Taylor Swift‘s magnanimous engagement and her new album, which, despite mixed reception from many, is seeing a huge surge in sales, she is now at the center of a conspiracy, where some are questioning her political leanings. With both Swift and fiancé Travis Kelce maintaining silence over the matter, the pop icon’s friend, Ruby Rose, came to her defense and trashed the narrative of Swift’s secret political leaning.

With some inference from the new album, many have started to believe that Taylor Swift is leaning towards the right when it comes to the image of being a wife. This has led to the speculation that Swift may secretly be a MAGA supporter. Moreover, this image of Swift, which has been further cemented by her appearances with Travis Kelce in very traditional American settings, is contrary to the feminist image she carved out for herself for so long.

But Ruby Rose believes that this is a deliberate “rage bait” and has no valid standpoint. Rose posted about this on her X account, where she slammed the ongoing narrative and speculations.

“As someone who has spent many nights discussing the world, social injustice and life, with The Show Girl herself,” Rose wrote, “I refuse to say her name in the same sentence as the hate group, Wackadoodles, are conspiring to attach her to (via Pop Crave).”

She added, “Given her public position against Trump, and his against her. If you are falling for the propaganda ‘Trad wife’ ‘X,y,x’ claims, you are most definitely walking into the biggest man-made, rage bait, black hole. Stop it. It’s not true, and it’s incredibly stupid. It’s also embarrassing and hurtful to see energy put into this. Keep that energy and let’s take it where it’s necessary and needed.”

The speculations mainly emerged from her new album, which many claimed portrays Swift’s excitement at marrying and starting a family. Many also felt that the message in her songs shifted from being self-reliant to being a “tradwife.”

Swift and Kelce have distanced themselves from the controversy.
