Travis Kelce Caught Saying ‘Hit They A**’ in Viral Mic’d Up Video

While the Kansas City Chiefs bounced back to winning ways with a victory in the latest Chiefs vs. Lions game, it was Travis Kelce who stole the show with his on-field performance, and later, with a hilarious Mic’d Up moment mentioning Hakeem Olajuwon. He not only pitched in with six receptions for 78 yards, leading the Chiefs to their third win of the season, but also entertained fans with his off-field antics.

Travis Kelce says the Lions didn’t want to see him ‘in the post’ during Chiefs’ win

While heading towards the sidelines in the Kansas City Chiefs’ 30-17 victory against the Detroit Lions, the 36-year-old tight end was heard comparing himself to NBA legend Hakeem Olajuwon while describing his play in the first quarter.

“They don’t want to see me in the post, man, they don’t want to see me in the post,” Travis Kelce stated, as per NFL Mic’d Up. “Hit they a** with the Hakeem the Dream,” he added, before he began narrating his experience witnessing Houston Rockets alum duke it out on the court to one of his younger teammates.

“See, you wasn’t even a part of the ’90s. You would’ve saw Hakeem Olajuwon hit them with that dream shake. You gotta do your research… I grew up watching that, so I emulated that. Shoutout to the Dream,” the three-time Super Bowl Champion noted.

For the unversed, Olajuwon’s nickname was “The Dream,” due to his effortless dunking skills. Meanwhile, fans seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed Kelce’s remarks, with one fan hilariously writing, “Bro turned into a history teacher mid-game,” in the comment section.

Another X (formerly Twitter) user highlighted the amusing yet friendly encounter between Kelce and his NFL junior, noting, “Awesome! Seeing Travis Kelce pass on the wisdom of Hakeem Olajuwon to young players is really the power of inheritance. This is the perfect combination of experience and talent, love it!” Moreover, a few other fans cleverly responded by using “impressed” Taylor Swift GIFs in their replies.

Having leveled their record for the season with the win against the Lions, the Chiefs and Travis Kelce will look to extend it to 4-3 with yet another victory in their upcoming NFL matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.
