Justin Trudeau’s estranged wife Sophie Grégoire shares cryptic message a day after his photos with Katy Perry went viral

Justin Trudeau’s estranged wife, Sophie Grégoire, recently shared a social media post. Her clip came a day after Trudeau’s kissing photo with Katy Perry went viral. Grégoire, who was married to Trudeau for 18 years, took to Instagram on Monday to share her reflective post about love. The retired television host emphasized the fact that “nothing we love is meant to be kept forever.”

The Instagram clip hinted at moving on, with the 50-year-old media personality saying, “The people, the places, even the moments that once felt, I don’t know, infinite — time asks us to not cling to them. And yet we do, I do, because to hold on feels safer than to let go.” Grégoire then continues to share that “love was never about possession. It was always about presence, the present moment.”

She felt that when a person releases what they “cannot keep,” they “make space for the truth of connection, intimacy, the memory, you know, for the lesson, for the way a single smile can echo across a lifetime.” The mom of three believes that “nothing we love was ever meant to be kept.” She even talked about how “grief” teaches you about “grace,” referring to her late father, who passed away a year ago.

Grégoire feels “love’s deepest teaching is this: to stand open-hearted in the face of impermanence, to honor what has been and to trust that letting go is also a form of keeping inside us where no loss can erase it.” At the end, she urged her followers to take a moment to “remember someone or something” that they “had to release, and feel how it still lives inside of you.” “That is love’s endurance. That is what carries us forward,” she said while ending the clip.
