Travis Kelce quipped to Van Pelt, “We were fired up to get to experience that challenge this week. Coach [Andy] Reid did a great job of getting these guys ready. We went out there and put up a 30-ball on that defense. That’s not an easy thing to do, man.” (via Arrowhead Addict)

Previously, an altercation between Kelce and Reid led fans to believe something was seriously wrong between them. In a video shared by SM Highlights on X via Complex, the footballer screams in Reid’s ear as the latter tries to push him away. The two quarrel angrily as they walk a little further away, trying to avoid the cameras filming them.

However, in an interview with The Kansas City Star, Travis assured fans that there is no animosity between him and coach Reid. He remarked, “I love that guy, man. There’s nothing outside of this building that’s going to make me feel any different. We know each other’s intentions exactly.” The tight end also credited coach Reid for helping him improve his game.

Furthermore, Travis Kelce and Andy Reid jointly discussed the matter in a recent pre-taped interview with ESPN. “Each guy shines his own shine. And some of them shine a little brighter,” Reid said while grabbing Kelce’s arm to showcase their sweet bond.
