Dwayne Johnson caught Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce off guard with a signature WWE-style insult. The former wrestling superstar gave one of his most famous lines live after a really long time.
Here’s how Travis Kelce reacted to Dwayne Johnson’s hilarious remark about the Kansas City Chiefs
Dwayne Johnson, also known as The Rock, joined Travis and Jason Kelce to chat about football, fatherhood, and his days in WWE on the New Heights podcast. So when asked by the brothers to share which one is the iconic WWE insult he has made in the entirety of his career, the actor involved the Kansas City Chiefs in his answer.
Dwayne Johnson asked Travis Kelce about who he thinks is going to win the Super Bowl, to which he confidently replied, “It’s gotta be the Kansas City Chiefs.” Using that as the setup, Johnson said, “The Rocks says, you take your opinion that it’s gotta be the Kansas City Chiefs…you roll that s** of a b***h, turn it sideways, and stick it straight up your candy a**.” It not only caught Kelce off guard but also prompted him to later say that it was “an all-time Rock moment” right there on their show.
After the laughter settled, Johnson explained how the famous line became one of his all-time favorite insults from WWE. “Telling somebody to stick something up their ass is an insult,” he said, grinning. “But when you turn it sideways…it’s a whole different thing.” He shared how WWE staff once asked him where that phrase came from, to which he admitted it was a spur-of-the-moment line that instantly became part of wrestling history.
Beyond the jokes, the New Heights episode also featured Dwayne Johnson nudging Travis Kelce about having babies with Taylor Swift. He said, “We’re putting that voodoo on you and Taylor right now.” Kelce called it “that blessing voodoo.”
