Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson joined Jason and Travis Kelce on the New Heights podcast on October 13, where he spoke about fatherhood and teased Travis about his future family plans with Taylor Swift. Johnson, 53, reflected on being a father to three daughters and told Travis that he would understand the joy of parenting one day.
“My babies, just like — you know, Jason, and one day you’ll know, Trav — babies are everything. That’s it,” Johnson said. He shares daughter Simone, 24, with ex-wife Dany Garcia, and daughters Jasmine, 9, and Tiana, 7, with wife Lauren Hashian. Jason Kelce, 37, echoed the sentiment while talking about raising his daughters Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finnley, 6 months, with his wife, Kylie Kelce.
“The moment the first one pops out, it’s like my entire hierarchy of priorities has completely shifted,” Jason said. “It’s crazy. You’ll see, Trav.” Johnson then joked, “We’re putting that voodoo on you and Taylor right now.”
Travis, 36, and Taylor Swift, 35, announced their engagement in August after two years of dating. Swift captioned photos from their garden proposal, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
Following the announcement, a source told Us Weekly that the couple “absolutely” wants to start a family and may “not wait too long.”
Swift previously hinted at her family aspirations in her song “Wi$h Li$t” from her 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl, singing, “Have a couple kids, got the whole block lookin’ like you.” The couple began dating in July 2023 after meeting at Swift’s Eras Tour show at Arrowhead Stadium.
