The new All’s Fair trailer, clocking in at 2 minutes and 49 seconds, offers a glimpse of what fans can expect from the series. The clip starts with Sarah Paulson’s character, Carrington Lane, walking into her legal team’s office. The sequence is accompanied by her voiceover, both transitioning into a shot showing her completing her dialogue, an exchange with Kim Kardashian and Niecy Nash-Betts’ characters, Allura Grant and Emerald Greene, respectively. Lane tells them, “There is a war to be won.”

The footage then cuts to a client greeting Grant and accompanying her into the office. The client tells the team they’re “the best divorce lawyers in town,” prompting Grant to ask her to tell them the whole story. The trailer then shows different clients, including one played by Brooke Shields, discussing problems with their partners.

Naomi Watts’ Liberty Ronson visits a client, who wonders what happened to her relationship. Next, Glenn Close’s Dina Standish remarks to Grant and Ronson that men are “terrified of women in power.” “And women besting men in divorce. No,” she adds. Ronson then tells Grant she loves her job. The latter tells someone what she tells her clients every day: “You never really know a person. It’s just a trap.”

The remainder of the footage teases a legal war between Grant and Lane over the former’s cheating partner, represented by Lane. The trailer concludes with the latter dressed similarly to the former. Taking an indirect jab at Grant, Lane tells those in the room present that her new look — which Grant emphasizes is hers — is “nothing more than next Halloween’s costume,” where she will dress up as a “wh*** lawyer.”
