Lori Loughlin is facing a challenging chapter in her life following her split from her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, after being together for nearly 28 years. A source close to the couple claimed that the “Full House” alum is “devastated” and navigating a particularly rough period.
‘Devastated’ Lori Loughlin is having a ‘rough time’ with Mossimo Giannulli split, source claims
“People around Lori and Mossimo have known they have been going through a really hard time in the last year,” the insider noted. They told Us Weekly, “This isn’t a shock to people around them. It has been a rough time for Lori. She is devastated.”
Lori Loughlin reportedly hoped that taking a break might improve her relationship with Mossimo Giannulli. However, the source confirms that the couple is “not on the same page.”
“They will not reconcile — there is currently no chance — and will ultimately divorce,” the insider added. While Giannulli has “been on dates” since the split, Loughlin has not pursued any new relationships.
The couple’s separation was officially confirmed by the outlet on October 2. “They are living apart now,” Loughlin’s representative stated. “There are no legal proceedings underway.”
Shortly after the announcement, Giannulli sparked dating rumors with stylist Hannah Harrison, 32, though Harrison clarified that their connection is strictly professional.
Loughlin and Giannulli are parents to daughters Isabella Rose, 27, and Olivia Jade, 26. The latter also has a son, Gianni, 34, from his previous marriage to Chris Giannulli.
Several months before their split, the former couple put their Hidden Hills, California, mansion on the market for $16.5 million. By July, the listing price had been reduced to $14.95 million, according to real estate records.
Loughlin and Giannulli faced numerous challenges over the years, including their widely publicized arrests in the 2019 college admissions scandal. They were accused of falsifying their daughters’ involvement in USC’s crew team and paying a $500,000 bribe to secure their admission.
