Prince William reportedly is not happy with the fact that Prince Harry met King Charles to reconcile before sabotaging their bond by defending his memoir, “Spare.” Due to this, the Prince of Wales has given an “ultimatum” to the monarch. He has allegedly asked the king to choose between him and the Duke of Sussex, which the sources say has been done for a reason.
Prince William wants King Charles ‘to start taking his advice and warnings more seriously,’ source claims
Seems like Prince William wants to settle things once and for all. The Prince of Wales was never on board with the idea of Prince Harry meeting their father, King Charles, for “peace talks.” But when it happened, William was reportedly not very happy.
However, things got worse when, right after their private meeting, Harry defended his book, “Spare.” During an interview with British media, the duke said that his “conscience is clear” about the memoir.
According to RadarOnline.com, looking at how things unfolded, William has now given an “ultimatum” to his father, saying, “It’s me or Harry,” as per a palace insider.
Revealing the reason behind the warning, the source claimed that, ”William’s not about ‘I told you so’ or revenge – he’s completely focused on what’s best for the family.”
The tipsters further added that the father of three “takes his role as protector to the King very seriously.” That is why he has “made it clear” to the monarch “to start taking his advice and warnings more seriously.”
He is more stern now after his younger brother’s tell-all interview, which left the monarch “burned less than a week after his meeting with Harry.” As per the insider, it “was almost to the letter what William predicted would happen. William thinks it’s foolish to let it happen again.”
Hence, he is more cautious than before. William “has seen Harry’s wild side, and is “one of the few who understands Harry strategically and less emotionally,” noted the source.
