Channing Tatum recalls meeting Peter Dinklage
The 21 Jump Street actor recently recalled details about his first meeting with Dinklage in a conversation on Late Night with Seth Meyers. He said that when he went to greet Dinklage for the first time, he was “butt-naked.” “I literally shook his hand, and I was just like, ‘OK, you’re going to get to know everything about me today. This is weird,” he added.
The host, Meyers, further revealed that he watched the movie, confirming that there were “no tricks” on how naked he was in the movie. Agreeing with Meyers, Tatum revealed that he was in his “birthday suit” for much of the movie. Tatum mentioned that the crew had to come up with a “plan” for not revealing his private parts while filming. Recalling a particular scene, he further added, “I have to jump up on this bike rack where the camera’s, like, right behind me. So if I jump up, I mean, it is… right down the barrel.”
Roofman originally premiered at TIFF in September 2025 and is all set to come out in US theaters on October 10. It’s a crime-comedy film that features Jeffrey Manchester, a fugitive and a former U.S. Army Reserve officer, known for intruding in McDonald’s through the roofs. He escapes the prison and avoids his capture, hiding in a Circuit City near Toys ‘R’ Us. He remains at the place while planning his next move. However, when he comes across a divorced woman and develops feelings, his life turns upside down.
