Rowan Atkinson-led Man vs Baby series gets December release date
Netflix has officially announced the release date for Man vs Baby, the latest comedy series led by Rowan Atkinson. Premiering on December 11, 2025, the show serves as a follow-up to 2022’s Man vs Bee, once again featuring Atkinson as Trevor Bingley.
The upcoming show will consist of four episodes, each running approximately 30 minutes. The announcement marks Atkinson’s return to the streaming giant over three years after Man vs Bee first premiered in June 2022. Known worldwide for his iconic performance in Mr. Bean, this time Atkinson acts alongside a baby.
The storyline continues Trevor Bingley’s misadventures after his disastrous experience caring for a high-tech mansion in Man vs Bee. According to the official synopsis, Trevor has abandoned his disastrous career in housesitting for a quieter life as a school caretaker. However, his plans unravel when he accepts a well-paying job to oversee a luxury London penthouse during Christmas.
As the school term ends, he unexpectedly finds himself responsible for a baby left behind from the nativity. The synopsis concludes, “With a penthouse to protect and a baby to burp, will Trevor be able to have the calm Christmas he hopes for, or will festivities descend into chaos?”
Production on Man vs Baby officially began following its announcement in December 2024. The series reunites Atkinson with long-time collaborator Will Davies, with both serving as writers and co-creators. Chris Clark and Will Davies oversee production as executive producers, while Kate Fasulo produces the show and David Kerr directs. The series is being developed under HouseSitter Productions, the same banner behind Man vs Bee.
