Jennifer Lopez Channels Her Inner Bosswoman in Black & White NYC Look

Jennifer Lopez‘s NYC photos showcase her flaunting a sharp, black-and-white look that doubles as a press-day statement. The singer-actor was in the city to promote “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” and for that, she built an outfit around a white button-down and a sleek midiskirt. Additionally, Lopez stacked on details that turned heads on the sidewalk as well as online. The result was a mix of office basics with runway glamour, overall fitting for a film campaign.

Jennifer Lopez blends multiple fashion elements into one ensemble in NYC photos

In photos from her NYC outing, Jennifer Lopez wore a crisp black and white outfit, making it one of her finest looks. It featured a shirt and a pleated corset that cinched the waist. She paired it with a mid-length skirt with a slit at the back. Over the outfit, she threw on a cropped knit with long, braided tassels, which swayed with each step.

The “On The Floor” hitmaker finished the look with pointed black pumps, slim rectangular sunglasses, and a compact black handbag. On her Instagram, JLo tagged the styling team behind the moment, including hairstylist Danielle Priano, makeup artist Scott Barnes, and fashion stylist Rob Zangardi.

The monochrome look emerged as Lopez went on-air for a lively exchange during a “Today” interview with host Craig Melvin, where she shifted the spotlight away from her divorce from Ben Affleck and onto her upcoming film. She noted Affleck’s role in getting it made, stating, “If it wasn’t for Ben, the movie wouldn’t have gotten made. And I will always give him that credit.” She added, “And yeah, things happen, you have to keep going.”

Lopez’s press push followed a red-carpet night where she wore a sheer botanical gown with a sculpted corset. Meanwhile, Affleck, an executive producer on the musical, showed support at the screening. Together, both of Jennifer Lopez’s NYC looks signaled a fashion run that was polished and cinematic.
