Yungblud sat down with Maher on the October 6 episode of his Club Random Podcast. The pair had an hour-long conversation on various topics, including music history, Rock’ n’ Roll, legendary artists, and more. At one point during the conversation, Maher brought up modern-day music concerts, which eventually led to Taylor Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour.

Maher alluded to the pop culture phenomenon and remarked on its length. “The Eras Tour…it goes on forever,” he stated. The actor and television host said that he does not have anything against the songstress but stated that he just doesn’t get her music.

Yungblud took the opportunity to declare, “I f****** love Taylor Swift.” He went on to share that his sisters loved the albums Fearless and Red by Taylor Swift. The rockstar revealed that the songs now remind him of some memorable moments with his family.

“It takes me back to a time when I was in my mom’s car with my sisters, and I actually f****** love it,” Yungblud shared.

Yungblud and Maher exchanged some more notes on Swift’s music. They agreed that not everyone has similar music tastes, and some artists may not appeal to everyone. Although Maher doesn’t listen to Swift’s tunes, he clarifies that he doesn’t dislike her.

Meanwhile, Swift is celebrating the release of her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. Shortly after its arrival on October 3, 2025, the album sold a record-breaking 2.7 million copies within the first day.

It features recent hits like “The Fate of Ophelia,” “Opalite,” and “Wood,” which have already made their marks on streaming services.
