Jennifer Lopez talks about Bad Bunny and Super Bowl
Jennifer Lopez cannot wrap her head around the criticism surrounding Bad Bunny headlining the Super Bowl. When host Craig Melvin asked Lopez on the Today show about the controversy surrounding the Latin superstar headlining the Super Bowl, she expressed surprise at the brouhaha.
“Is there controversy?” she replied. “I swear I don’t know.” Melvin then went on to say that despite Bad Bunny’s popularity, there are some who aren’t “wild about the idea.” He said, “You’d have to ask them. He’s wildly popular, but for a lot of folks, they have said, it should be someone else.” Lopez then responded, “But why? I don’t understand that. He’s one of the top artists in the world right now, probably the top.” She also added that she thinks he’s “about to blow everybody’s mind.”
The pop icon further shared that she’s “super excited for people to see him,” further revealing that his “music transcends language,” and that fans will enjoy his performance. “I’m so excited for him.
