Nicki Minaj was all praise for the title song of Taylor Swift’s new album, “The Life of a Showgirl.” With the same name, the track’s lyrics have caught the attention of the “Girl on Fire” hitmaker. On X [formerly Twitter], she responded to a user’s post where she was asked if she had listened to the collab song.

For the title track, the “Lover” soloist collaborated with Sabrina Carpenter. Praising the song, Minaj wrote, “But I’m immortal now baby dolls. I couldn’t if I tried.” She further called the lyrics “iconic.”

The theme of the title song is based on a girl named Kitty. So, the lines begin as: “Her name was Kitty. Made her money being pretty and witty. They gave her the keys to this city.” Furthermore, it highlights how the girl tells her fan, who has given her a “lovely bouquet,” that they “don’t know the life of a showgirl.”

The beautiful track ends with Swift giving a shout-out to “the band, the dancers, and, of course, Sabrina.” The latter responds, “I love you, Taylor!” For those unversed, the duo has worked on an album together for the first time.
