New Heights podcast has gone all out promoting Taylor Swift’s new album, The Life of a Showgirl. The podcast shared two posts on Instagram — one a meme, and another a snippet from Swift’s debut appearance on the podcast. Notably, NFL brothers Travis and Jason Kelce host the weekly podcast.
New Heights podcast celebrates Taylor Swift’s new album
The New Heights podcast has taken it upon itself to market Taylor Swift’s 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. The album dropped on October 3.
The much-loved sports and celebrity podcast shared two memes on Instagram. The first is a meme taken from the film Mean Girls, with Travis Kelce’s face superimposed on Lindsay Lohan and Jason Kelce’s face pasted on Aaron Samuels, with the first image saying, “On October 3rd, he asked me what day it was.” The second image says, “It’s The Life of a Showgirl release day.”
They captioned the Instagram post: “Happy release day to all who celebrate,” accompanied by two heart emoticons.
The second Instagram post is one where Taylor Swift proudly shows off the cover art for The Life of a Showgirl on the New Heights podcast as the Kelce brothers clap and cheer for her.
In the snippet shared on Instagram, Swift confesses, “This is my brand new album. It’s called The Life of a Showgirl. It was something that I was working on while I was in Europe on the Eras Tour. I just love it. I just love it a lot. I love music. I would be playing shows, I’d, like, do three shows in a row, then I’d have three days off, I’d fly to Sweden. Go back to the tour and actually, like, working on this. I was physically exhausted at this point of the tour but so mentally stimulated and excited to be creating this.”
The post is captioned: “WE GOT TS12 BABY!!!!!!!!!!!! The Life Of A Showgirl is officially OUT NOW!” Travis Kelce spoke the lines on the podcast, which marked Swift’s debut on the New Heights podcast.
Additionally, Swifties noticed that the global pop icon dedicated a verse to Travis Kelce and the New Heights podcast on her song “Wood” from the album.
