Travis Kelce Calls Out A.J. Brown Venting His Frustration Online: ‘Come On, Man’

Philadelphia Eagles star A.J. Brown‘s cryptic social media post has been called out by Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. While the Eagles remain one of the NFL 2025’s few undefeated teams, Brown’s personal production has slumped, leading to a public airing of frustrations that Kelce has some thoughts on.

Travis Kelce slams A.J. Brown’s online post

Brown, who has only one touchdown through the Eagles’ first four games, took to social media following Week 4’s win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Despite the Eagles’ perfect 4-0 record, Brown voiced his frustration after catching two passes for seven yards. His cryptic message read, “If you’re not welcomed, not listened to, quietly withdraw. Don’t make a scene. Shrug your shoulders and be on your way.”

Travis Kelce, speaking on his New Heights podcast, called out A.J. Brown for doing that. “You’re 4-0, boss. Come on, man,” Kelce stated, emphasizing the priority of team success. He elaborated that he finds it difficult to tap into that kind of negative energy when his team is winning games. “I don’t find that energy or that feeling in me if we’re winning, if we’re having success,” he explained, though he conceded that all players get frustrated at times.

This led to a friendly debate between the Kelce brothers. Jason Kelce, a retired Eagles center who played with Brown, came to the t A.J. Brown’s defense. He argued that a player of his caliber has a right to be upset about his limited role in the offense.

“I don’t think that it’s unfathomable that a player of A.J. Brown’s caliber… should be upset that he’s not being utilized,” Jason pointed out. He believes Brown should feel comfortable voicing his concerns directly in the locker room. However, Jason did acknowledge that social media may not be the ideal platform.

Travis Kelce ended the discussion with, “To each his own.” Since then, A.J. Brown has publicly addressed the situation and clarified that it wasn’t directed at anybody.
