The poster, shared on Netflix’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, features a woman in a flowing silver gown holding a mask behind her back. Its caption reads, “Bridgerton Season 4 shall make its debut in 2026. A masquerade is like no other event. Prepare yourselves, for anything can happen.”

The upcoming installment focuses on Benedict Bridgerton, the family’s second-oldest son, played by Luke Thompson. The story follows Benedict as he becomes captivated by a mysterious woman at his mother Violet Bridgerton’s masquerade ball. Known to him only as the Lady in Silver, she turns out to be Sophie, a clever maid portrayed by Yerin Ha.

Talking about the new season, Thompson said, “The scripts that Jess [Brownell] and her team have come up with are dynamite. They’re really, really, really exciting.” He added, “It’s such a great story, but it’s also, I hope, really relatable.”

The season will span eight episodes and is inspired by the third book in Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton series, An Offer from a Gentleman. Returning cast members include Jonathan Bailey, Simone Ashley, Nicola Coughlan, Adjoa Andoh, Hannah Dodd, Luke Newton, and Claudia Jessie, among others.

Production is overseen by showrunner and executive producer Jess Brownell. Meanwhile, Shonda Rhimes, Tom Verica, Betsy Beers, and Chris Van Dusen continue their executive producer roles.
