In a candid moment, Urban spoke about the time he nearly destroyed his marriage with Kidman. The “Somebody Like You” singer revealed he had been battling substance abuse, the effects of which reached a breaking point barely four months into their marriage.
He confessed, “My addictions … that I’d done really nothing about, blew our marriage to smithereens. Four months into a marriage, I’m in rehab for three months.” Furthermore, he admitted he wasn’t sure how the couple would make their marriage work.
