NXT star Edris Enofe is leaving WWE
Edris Enofe posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) discussing his departure from the WWE.
“As of today, I will officially be leaving the WWE,” Enofe stated. “This is a decision that I have thought about for a very long time, and I’m gonna trust my gut on this,” he added.
The wrestler noted how he got the opportunity to meet “incredible people” from wrestlers to creative teams to medical staff and coaches, who trained him to become better over the course of his four-year run. He added that he would always be grateful for their efforts.
“And of course, to all the fans who have supported me…through all these years, thank you,” he concluded.
The post received a plethora of reactions from fans. Several of them wished him luck in his future endeavors.
All Elite Wrestling’s Ricochet had a humorous reaction to Enofe’s WWE exit. On X, he wrote, “Come to @AEW and ima slap you in the face. #Ahaa.”
Notably, Enofe joined WWE in 2021 after finishing his U.S. Navy service. Later, he formed a tag team with Malik Blade. The pair became standout performers in 2022’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, leading to them garnering fan-favorite status.
Enofe’s wrestling run was brought to a halt in August 2024 after he suffered a shoulder injury, forcing him to step away from the ring. However, he re-emerged in February 2025 after being medically cleared.
The news of Enofe’s WWE exit comes a few days after fellow NXT star Jazmyn Nyx revealed she wasn’t re-signing with WWE.
