Masters of the Universe rumor reveals what happens in He-Man teaser trailer
A rumored teaser description for Masters of the Universe surfaced on Reddit, where a user claimed that staff members approached him and his spouse at Regal Cinemas before a screening of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle. He said staff members showed them an unfinished trailer on a tablet and asked for feedback.
According to the post, the teaser opens with Prince Adam on Earth, talking to a friend while Cringer appears beside him. The footage then moves to Eternia, where Adam learns about his lineage from what appeared to be the Sorceress. Brief glimpses of Skeletor and Evil-Lyn follow before Adam lifts the Power Sword, shouts “I HAVE THE POWER,” and transforms into He-Man, with a few action shots closing the clip.
The post described the teaser as “about 75% WIP,” with several shots still showing green screen and security watermarks. The leaker wrote, “It was an early cut of the trailer, with several shots showing green screen still and a bit difficult to see due to the security watermarks, but it was overall good.”
He said Skeletor closely resembled his animated counterpart, while Man-At-Arms appeared briefly and impressed his wife. The teaser reportedly showcased multiple Eternian landscapes and strongly positioned the story as Prince Adam’s origin.
Nicholas Galitzine plays Prince Adam, Jared Leto portrays Skeletor, Idris Elba takes on the role of Man-At-Arms, and Morena Baccarin appears as the Sorceress, with Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn. Travis Knight directs the film, which is now in post-production after completing principal photography earlier this year.
The studio scheduled Masters of the Universe for a global theatrical release on June 5, 2026.
