According to a recent report by Rob Shuter, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively might be facing some marital troubles. Insider sources claim that the popular Hollywood couple is reportedly having frequent fights and is “at each other’s throats” most of the time. One source close to them revealed, “It’s constant — they fight all the time.”
The source alleges that the fights have begun to turn ugly, with Reynolds and Lively exchanging F-bombs and other aggressive profanities. “The F-bombs aren’t playful anymore. It’s nasty, and it’s wearing them both down,” they added.
These claims surfaced a few days after Reynolds joked about hurling the F-word at Lively. It happened during the screening of his new documentary, John Candy: I Like Me, on Thursday, September 25, when Reynolds revealed how difficult it was to get hold of Bill Murray.
The Deadpool star joked that he left about 40 messages to Murray. When he finally responded, Reynolds and Lively were about to attend an important event. When Lively reminded him that they needed to go in, Reynolds retorted with “F**k you!” saying that it was more important to take the call from Murray. Although he meant it as a joke, insiders claim that it was a reflection of their marital troubles.
A friend close to the couple confided, “They used to tease each other for fun, but lately it feels cruel. Blake feels humiliated, and Ryan acts like she should just ‘take it.’ That kind of energy isn’t sustainable.”
Sources maintain that behind closed doors, things are not what they seem between the couple. Another insider added, “It’s toxic. The fighting is constant, the swearing relentless — and neither one seems willing to back down.”
Meanwhile, Blake Lively is currently involved in a lawsuit against her It Ends with Us co-star and director Justin Baldoni. The actors have been at the center of a highly publicized feud, with allegations of a hostile working environment, sexual harassment, and a smear campaign.
