This rumor adds to earlier reports that Peter Parker, no longer an Avenger, will face several new enemies in a darker chapter of his life.
Tombstone’s presence may connect to a larger gang war in New York after Wilson Fisk’s possible downfall in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. With Frank Castle continuing his war on crime, Tombstone could become a major obstacle for both Punisher and Spider-Man. The movie also reportedly includes villains such as Scorpion, Tarantula, Boomerang, and Ramrod. Rumors suggest a Venom Symbiote subplot may involve Mac Gargan.
Reports state that Spider-Man: Brand New Day will feature the Hulk and the supernatural entity Shathra. Spider-Man faces Punisher’s extreme methods while struggling with his own responsibility.
