Meghan Markle is being criticized by Bravo reality star Stassi Schroeder for not sending her “As Ever” PR gift boxes. In an episode of her “Stassi” podcast earlier this month, the “Vanderpump Rules” star said that she has “literally defended” Markle “when no one else did.”
However, sources defended the Duchess of Sussex’s “snub.” They said that “Stassi is a walking red flag.” The insider further clarified to #ShuterScoop that Markle’s “brand wants nothing to do with” the “baggage” of Schroeder.
As per Page Six, Schroeder claimed in her podcast that Markle “moves through social media, I think that she’s stuck in 2017. ” She even alleged that the duchess thinks of her as a “lowly reality person.” But according to the insider, that’s not the case, as the mom of two does not even know her.
Defending her actions further, another source told Rob Shutter that “It was Meghan’s marketing team handling a promo, not Meghan herself.” They even added that Schroeder might be “delusional” to think that “every celebrity is at home cross-legged with bubble wrap thinking about her.”
However, it seems Schroeder is not happy with how the whole thing turned out. After the fiasco, the reality TV star admitted in the podcast that she was “furious.” Schroeder went on to say that “this is the last straw.” She even declared that she would “not” watch her Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan,” anymore.
