Jaden Smith showed up for Jordyn Woods’ birthday

Jaden Smith proves he is a good friend as the rapper-actor flew across the country to New York to celebrate his friend Jordyn Woods’ birthday. The 28-year-old reality star shared a series of Instagram Stories showcasing how she spent her special day.

In the first picture, she is wearing a bathrobe, ready for a relaxing spa session. Later, she posted an elegant solo lunch setup with neatly arranged cutlery and glasses, only to surprise followers with the reveal that her best friend Jaden Smith had joined her in person. “Until best friend flew across the country to spend the day with me,” she captioned, accompanied by a crying emoticon.

Jaden Smith appeared stylish in a blue striped shirt and magenta trousers, captured in a candid photo where he posed with a straight face. Another snap showed him indulging in waffles topped with honey and cream.

In the next set of photos, the 28-year-old visits the Whitney Museum, but it is unclear whether Smith accompanied her. Woods ends her birthday trip by revealing she went to watch the film Him in the cinema.

For those unversed, Jaden Smith and Jordyn Woods share a unique bond that goes back to childhood. Their fathers introduced them years ago. Jordyn’s late father, John Woods, worked with Will Smith on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Notably, John Woods and Will Smith introduced Jaden and Jordyn to one another, and the duo have been best friends since they were kids. In fact, Jordyn considers Will Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, as family.
