Renowned media personality and businesswoman Kim Kardashian has shared an amusing anecdote about the time her mother, Kris Jenner, managed to trick her into going on a blind date. The Skims co-founder narrated the entire story during a recent interview, adding that the ordeal led to her yelling out, “I’m going to kill you,” to her mother.

During her September 24 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Kim Kardashian shared an interesting tale from her formative years when her mother sent her on a date with an Emmy-winning producer by saying that the meeting was actually a job interview.
The second-eldest Kardashian sibling noted that the encounter took place at The Ivy restaurant in Los Angeles before Keeping Up With The Kardashians had happened. Talking about how her mother convinced her to attend the meeting, Kim Kardashian said that Kris Jenner “told me I had a business – I had a job interview.”
“And it was, like, this TV executive. And she told me it was a job interview, but she told him it was a date,” the 44-year-old celebrity recalled.
Kardashian revealed that she realized her mother’s set-up in a matter of moments, stating, “I had a resume on me. I don’t think she thought I’d be so prepared to bring a resume. Once I – like, five minutes in, I realized what was up.” She then disclosed her reaction to the bizarre incident, noting, “I was like, ‘I’m going to kill you,'” while referencing Jenner.
Jimmy Fallon, who was enjoying listening to Kim Kardashian’s outlandish story, then asked his guest about her experience on the date. The Disaster Movie star replied by saying that there was “no chemistry” between the duo whatsoever.
The talk show host then turned to Kris Jenner to hear the other side of the story. The popular socialite divulged that the unidentified TV producer had jokingly asked her about taking his Emmy award with him to boost his chances with Kim Kardashian. However, Jenner ultimately admitted that she always knew that things wouldn’t have worked out between him and her daughter in any case.
