According to Rob Shuter of Shuter Scoop, Lori’s recent thong photo has displeased Steve. In one of the pictures, the model went topless in nothing but Tom Ford’s vintage Gucci G-string during her recent Mexican getaway to the One&Only Mandarina coastal resort.
A family insider revealed to Shuter Scoop on the condition of anonymity, “He supports Lori’s independence, but this pushed the envelope way too far. He was stunned when he saw the photo.”
The source added that Steve Harvey is protective of his girls and of the family-friendly brand he has created in the media and in the eyes of the public. The 67-year-old is unhappy to see titillating images of his daughter circulating on the internet. “He’s embarrassed and worried about the fallout.”
However, the same source added that Lori Harvey is unfazed by her adoptive father’s reaction to her thong pic. She is “not apologizing” and “Steve may cringe, but Lori knows exactly what she’s doing.”
The 28-year-old’s sizzling Mexican-holiday carousel pictures, particularly the one in a black Gucci thong, created a stir online, garnering reactions from all quarters. The comments followed, “You are THAT girl,” with multiple heart-eyes and fire emoticons. Another comment stated, “Just pure exotic!” with accompanying emoticons. A third fan chimed in, “The Gucci thong!!! Girlllllll,” with multiple fire emoticons for effect.
