Bella Hadid, who has been struggling with chronic Lyme’s disease, recently announced that she had resumed work. The 28-year-old shared a picture on her Instagram Stories, noting that she had returned to work to fulfill a commitment, even if it was a bit too early, given her health wasn’t at its best. This update comes days after Hadid was hospitalized. She was first diagnosed with Lyme’s disease in 2012, alongside her brother, Anwar, and mother, Yolanda.
Bella Hadid is working again amid health struggles
The Orebella founder shared a photo on her Instagram Stories showing what she was doing on September 22, 2025. The image showed a Sony computer screen that had the message, “INPUT 2 B NO VIDEO DETECTED.”
Bella Hadid put up an accompanying caption alongside the picture that highlighted her hardworking nature despite her health struggles. It read, “Maybe a bit too soon but…never one to bail on a commitment.”

Hadid’s Instagram Story comes five days after she shared an Instagram post documenting a recent visit to the hospital. The post included a carousel of photos showing the Ramy actress looking sick, a house, flowers, a portion of a bright yellow building, a yellow car, and cards.
It also included two videos. One was a close-up of some pink flowers, while the other showed Hadid shaking hands with a visitor who played backgammon with her. “I’m sorry I always go MIA I love you guys,” she captioned the post.
The model’s post was followed by another one from her mother, Yolanda Hadid, the next day. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shared a series of photos on Instagram chronicling Hadid’s fight with Lyme’s disease. The pictures were accompanied by a lengthy caption, in which Yolanda — who also suffers from the same — expressed admiration for her daughter’s “bravery” in fighting it.
Hadid has been working diligently since her return from the hospital. She recently unveiled Orebella and Ulta Beauty’s fifth fragrance, “Eternal Roots,” on Instagram. Furthermore, the model shared a series of grayscale and color pictures showing her in a white top and lingerie, holding her “favorite color red compact mirror.”
Bella Hadid was first diagnosed with Lyme’s disease when she was 16. However, she revealed via Instagram that she had been experiencing its symptoms since she was 14 (via PEOPLE).
